Caitlyn Jenner initially backed Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential race. However, in a reflective piece published in The Washington Post in 2018, she retracted her earlier optimism regarding Trump’s commitment to LGBTQ+ rights.
“Unfortunately, I have come to realize that this administration is actively undermining our community,” wrote Jenner. She acknowledged that her faith in him was misplaced and declared that she could no longer support someone who opposes LGBTQ+ interests. Since then, she has continued to identify as a Republican while also running for governor of California and contributing as a commentator on Fox News.

After initially supporting Ted Cruz during the primaries of the 2016 election cycle, actor James Woods shifted his allegiance towards Donald Trump. In 2017 he announced his retirement from acting citing being blacklisted by Hollywood due to his conservative views.
The actor claimed he faced professional repercussions when told not to promote “Oppenheimer” despite serving as an executive producer because of his right-leaning stance.
Stacey Dash’s Brief Congressional Bid

You may remember Stacey Dash from her role as Dionne in the iconic film “Clueless.” However since embracing conservatism publicly, she has expressed difficulty securing acting roles. In an interview with The Guardian back in 2018, she stated that non-liberal individuals are often marginalized within Hollywood circles.
“If you don’t fit their liberal mold you’re often sidelined,” said Dash. In March of that year, after announcing plans for a congressional run representing Southern California’s district but withdrew shortly thereafter—less than one month later—indicating it wasn’t meant for her at this time.
In March of 2021 following events surrounding January sixth insurrection at Capitol Hill ,she issued an apology regarding previous support given towards President Trump .

Not every celebrity who identifies as conservative feels alienated when sharing their viewpoints publicly . Melissa Joan Hart reflected upon past experiences where expressing Republican sentiments led others around them not being supportive especially during Bob Dole’s campaign years ago .
However ,she mentioned feeling more comfortable now surrounded by like-minded colleagues stating :“These days I’m pretty much surrounded by Republicans at work which makes it easier but I still enjoy discussing perspectives with my Democrat friends.”
Joy Villa’s Fashion Statements Reflecting Political Views

Dressed provocatively at Grammy Awards held back in February , singer-songwriter Joy Villa donned an eye-catching red-white-blue mermaid gown emblazoned boldly across its front were words echoing President Trump’s campaign slogan :“Make America Great Again”. Designed by Andre Soriano this outfit clearly conveyed where Villa stood politically without uttering any words.

“The United States stands as the finest nation globally, and @realDonaldTrump will be remembered as one of history’s most exceptional leaders,” Villa declared on her social media platforms. “Who else has achieved peace where others have failed? Who has built relationships with the Middle East, North Korea, and soon Russia? #trumpworldpeace.”
This was not the first occasion Villa showcased her political beliefs at a high-profile event. At the 2020 Grammy Awards, she donned a gown that promoted Trump’s reelection.
“As a public figure and new Republican, I stand firm in my beliefs,” Villa expressed in an op-ed for USA Today back in 2018.

In May 2022 during an event supporting Trump held in Austin,
Nugent made headlines by urging attendees to take aggressive action against Democrats.

“I adore you all immensely but would appreciate it even more if you went out there and unleashed your fury upon those Democrats along with Marxists and communists.”
