It’s been almost five years since Valve introduced a‌ completely new title to its lineup. The anticipation continues as​ the company hasn’t yet revealed Deadlock, an upcoming ⁢hero shooter inspired by hit games‌ like Overwatch, Dota ⁢2, and Team Fortress 2.​ This​ has not deterred nearly 20,000 eager gamers from diving into the experience, myself included.

To clarify, I am ‌fully free of any non-disclosure‌ agreements; no contracts were signed, nor did I⁢ agree ​to any verbal conditions.​ In fact, I didn’t even acknowledge a EULA prior to my gameplay.

The notification appeared upon launching Deadlock; however, instead ‌of accepting it, I simply pressed Escape and watched it vanish.

Earlier ‍today, an unsolicited invitation landed in my inbox for exploring Deadlock on Steam. According to Steam’s information page, this game ⁣is indeed produced by Valve and boasts their branding…
