- Podcaster Joe Rogan publicly supported Donald Trump in a post on Monday evening.
- Rogan referenced Elon Musk, stating that the billionaire presented “the most persuasive argument” for Trump’s candidacy.
- Musk has invested millions in efforts to secure Trump’s election.
On the eve of Election Day, influential podcaster Joe Rogan expressed his endorsement for former President Donald Trump during a podcast and social media announcement on Monday evening.
In his post on X, Rogan highlighted billionaire Elon Musk’s influence, asserting that Musk made “the most persuasive argument” in favor of Trump.
“The remarkable and powerful @elonmusk. Without him, we would be in serious trouble,” wrote Rogan.
“Just to clarify, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump,” he added emphatically.
This endorsement coincided with a two-hour-and-forty-minute podcast featuring Musk as a guest. The billionaire has dedicated substantial financial resources towards supporting Trump’s campaign efforts.
Rogan’s backing follows Trump’s recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience earlier this month—a significant opportunity for the Republican candidate to connect directly with over 14 million Spotify listeners who tune into Rogan’s show regularly.
The three-hour discussion has garnered more than 45 million views on YouTube within just two weeks since its release.
Trump is actively working to engage young male voters—who represent a large segment of Rogan’s audience—in hopes of mobilizing their support ahead of the election.
In 2022, however, Rogan had distanced himself from supporting Trump by declining invitations to host him on his show at that time. “I don’t want to assist him; I’m not interested in aiding his cause,” he stated then.
The podcaster also sought an interview with Vice President Kamala Harris but mentioned that her campaign requested he travel for it instead. “I genuinely believe it’s best done in my studio here in Austin,” he remarked on X. “My sincere hope is simply to have an engaging conversation and understand her better as a person.” He expressed optimism about making this meeting happen soon.
