Privacy Considerations

The ⁤notable distinction at present appears to be Instagram’s more constrained privacy options. Users need to⁣ select a “specific group of individuals” for‍ location sharing—this could include “Close Friends or just followers ⁤they reciprocate,” as ​explained by Christine Pai from Meta in an interview with The Verge. In contrast, ⁤Snapchat allows broader visibility with ​public posts ⁣on its Snap Maps.
