I evaluated six different beverages from Dunkin’ and Dutch Bros Coffee.
While Dutch Bros excelled with most offerings, Dunkin’ still holds the crown for caramel coffee.
I’m eager to visit Dutch Bros again for their oat-milk lattes, iced mochas, and cold brews.
Both Dunkin’ and Dutch Bros are currently at the forefront of my go-to coffee shops.
Dunkin’, a chain rooted in Massachusetts, boasts nearly 10,000 outlets across 45 states in the United States as well as presence in 33 other countries, making it an accessible choice for many consumers.
In contrast, Dutch Bros delivers a more specialized experience. This drive-thru-only chain originates from Oregon and has just shy of 1,000 locations, all within the US borders.
The defining aspect that shapes a coffee brand’s reputation is its beverage selection — prompting me to conduct this comparison between two popular chains known for their unique offerings.
Dunkin’s parent company continues to thrive.
Although I still wonder if it’s officially *Dunkin’* or *Dunkin’ Donuts*, this brand has been dishing out tasty breakfast items along with delicious coffee since the 1950s. Fast forward over seven decades later—its parent firm, Dunkind Brands Group Inc., shows no signs of slowing down as they recently reported having more than doubled their profits earlier this July!
Sparking my loyalty beyond childhood memories tied to doughnuts was certainly its dependable range of coffees on offer!
Dutch Bros may be expanding rapidly despite lower numbers now.
