The campaign is set to kick off in Miami, Florida, featuring a mobile billboard on a boat near Swift’s concert venue and additional billboards throughout the city.
The DNC aims to introduce voters to what they are calling their “Kamala Era.” The Snapchat filter prominently displays the phrase “In My Voting Era,” along with options for users to express their support for various causes such as democracy, reproductive rights, climate action, student loan debt relief, healthcare access, racial justice, LGBTQ+ rights, economic opportunity, and equality.

“This election is pivotal for young voters—impacting everything from student loan forgiveness and job opportunities to fundamental rights,” stated Rosemary Boeglin, Communications Director of the DNC. She emphasized that Democrats are actively reaching out where young people congregate—from concert venues to social media platforms—to ensure they have all necessary resources for voting.
Boeglin further noted that no vote is being taken lightly by Democrats: “We will continue our efforts so that young voters nationwide understand what’s at stake and recognize the clear differences between Vice President Harris’ vision and Donald Trump’s Project 2025 agenda.”

A Star Endorsement Following Key Debate Moments
Taylor Swift publicly endorsed Kamala Harris shortly after last month’s presidential debate between Harris and former President Donald Trump. In an Instagram post, she expressed her decision stating she would vote for Harris because “she champions causes I believe need strong advocacy.”
“I’ve conducted my research; now it’s your turn—make your choice wisely! To first-time voters: remember you must be registered!” wrote Swift to her 283 million followers. She also suggested early voting as an easier option while promising links in her story about registration details and early voting dates.
Swift concluded her post humorously identifying herself as “Taylor Swift, Childless Cat Lady,” referencing comments made by Trump’s running mate Sen. JD Vance about childless women influencing politics negatively back in 2021.
