Wynn Las Vegas: A Luxurious Villa Experience
The Wynn Las Vegas has undergone an extravagant renovation of its opulent villas, which are available exclusively through invitation.
A Pinnacle of Luxury in Sin City
Recognized as one of the premier hotels in Las Vegas by Travel + Leisure readers, the Wynn boasts nearly 5,000 rooms—a remarkable achievement. Central to this success is the hotel’s dedication to continuous improvement and refinement. Todd-Avery Lenahan, president and chief creative officer of Wynn Design & Development, played a pivotal role in this transformation. In 2022, he led an impressive $200 million overhaul of the original tower and subsequently turned his attention to enhancing the resort’s most exclusive offerings: its villas.
Exquisite Design Meets Unmatched Comfort
After two and a half years and an investment of $70 million—excluding priceless art sourced globally—these villas stand among the finest accommodations worldwide. Spanning between 13,000 to 17,000 square feet each, there are six luxurious options available: two grand two-story residences featuring four bedrooms and ten bathrooms each; alongside four single-story homes with two spacious bedrooms and six baths. This ensures guests enjoy both intimacy and extravagance during their stay.
The design incorporates multiple suites, media rooms, fitness facilities, as well as breathtaking rooftop gardens complete with private pools. This evolution respects the original architectural vision while infusing artistic elements that enhance guest experiences. Lenahan emphasizes creating an atmosphere that feels both intimate and extraordinary amidst such grandeur.
A Fusion of Artistry and Functionality
The interiors feature walls adorned with woven tweeds reminiscent of high-fashion designs like Chanel suits; rich silk tapestries crafted over a year; hand-beaded draperies; along with spa-like wet rooms—all curated for ultimate comfort without compromising on elegance since their inception in 2005.
This reimagining reflects Wynns’ forward-thinking vision for hospitality excellence. “Our aim is for guests to feel valued,” states Lenahan. These residences transcend mere lodging—they exemplify what can be achieved when exquisite design meets substantial investment under his guidance.
An Artistic Journey Awaits Guests
Navigating through the stunning arrival gallery reveals an impressive collection of art pieces illuminated by natural light against a soothing color palette featuring pale celadon hues complemented by white gold accents along with Wedgewood blue tones interspersed with saffron yellow and lavender shades. The ambiance is further enhanced by Murano glass chandeliers paired with vintage alabaster pendant lights that create an enchanting atmosphere setting according to Lenahan’s vision.
“The extensive lead times required for crafting these villas—from custom hardware to handwoven carpets—highlight our commitment to quality,” notes Lenahan.
This space also serves as a preview for future developments within Wynns Resorts including a million-dollar crystal chest originally commissioned for London’s Crystal Palace during the Great Exhibition in 1851—a recent acquisition from Getty’s collection destined for display within Wynns’ upcoming casino resort on Al Marjan Island in UAE but currently residing here until then.
