A developer associated with⁢ Ryujinx, known as riperiperi, ⁤shared insights on their Discord server and‍ social media platforms regarding a communication from Nintendo. According to riperiperi, another developer named gdkchan was approached by representatives from Nintendo⁣ who proposed an‌ agreement that would require him to cease‌ all work ⁤related to‌ the emulator and dismantle ‌any associated ‌organizational structures and⁤ assets under ⁢his control.

While specifics about this ​negotiation​ remain undisclosed, riperiperi noted that “the organization​ has been removed,” which suggests it is‍ no longer available on ⁢GitHub. He further implied that this ‌outcome‍ indicates a definitive conclusion ⁣to their efforts.

Status of Online Resources

As of now, although the official website for‍ Ryujinx remains operational, ⁤links​ directing users to download⁢ pages or other resources⁢ hosted on‌ GitHub are non-functional. The ⁢developers have not⁢ issued​ any progress updates since January 2024 after consistently providing monthly reports throughout‍ 2023.
